The City canvas with ESP32 and Touch Capacitive project combines 3D printing, touch-capacitive input, and 2D projection to create an interactive map of San Francisco, inspired by the physical world of board games. By utilizing advanced technology such as Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3D modeling, i3 Duplicator for 3D printing, and JavaScript for extending MaptasticJS, the project offers a unique and engaging experience for users to explore the city.
As a lead designer, my role involved contributing my skills in 3D modeling, 3D printing, and coding to help bring this innovative project to life. The supportive teamwork and dedication of each member played a crucial role in overcoming the challenges and complexities involved in creating such an immersive experience. The City Mapping project demonstrates the power of collaboration and advanced technology in producing captivating and interactive experiences for users to enjoy and learn from.
