Abstract



Self Driving trucks will soon begindelivering freight in 2020. Following the statistics, we assume that criminals on the road will rise in the future, because there will not be humans inside the autonomous truck. How might we create the system that protects Volvo’s customers containers?
This application is a concept for Volvo’s self driving truck by creating a tracking system, visualizing the new approach to interact between human and artificial intelligent. The specific areas are in North America based on Volvo’s customer target.

Opportunity



One of the biggest problems for long- haul route is cargo theft. According to PLS Logistic service1, there is an average of 63 cargo thefts per month. Florida, California, and Texas shows the highest frequency of cargo theft. Also 49% of thefts occur between Friday and Sunday2.

This will allow you to access the organs of truck. We imagine the track can have all 5 sensations to communicate with control center.

Because we have all information about hardware part. Also software part can think by itself. How might we generate a video that will be able to accept command from human by human’s language.
